Founded more than 30 years ago by Wilmington native Leon Skinner, they have earned a reputation for treating customers like family. “We try to build all of our homes as if we are moving into them ourselves,” explains Vice President Jeff Hilton. “We hope everything we do is done well.” The company targets first-time and move-up buyers, but Hilton says their reputation for high-quality construction and good value has brought some families back to purchase two or three homes.
